2010 Waldram Reunion: San Diego

Thursday morning Kamryn had a Valentine's party at school. She got to put all of her Valentine's in her classmates bags. When she got home she looked at all of her loot. She got a lot of stuff. Thursday afternoon people started arriving. We made spaghetti for dinner. It was fun reuniting. Gemma and Macy kept wanting to play with the same toy and would keep taking it from each other.

Reunion-Day 2

Friday we played games and ate lunch. Macy was having a good time with Skyler. After lunch on Friday we went to the park to fly some kites. Too bad it wasn't really windy enough for them to fly. It sure was funny watching them try to get them up in the air.











After the park we started getting the traditional Waldram Christmas Eve dinner ready. Everyone is assigned something to prepare, so it gets done fairly quickly. After dinner we had a hilarious night. I thought it would be fun to have an ugly sweater contest. So everyone brought the ugliest sweater they could find, and Jeremy added in the twist of having to walk downstairs and do a little dance to the song of our choice. It was so funny, and seemed to be a big hit. We may have a new tradition now. Sarah won first, Skyler-second, and Jeremy-third. Good times!

Reunion-Day 3

On Saturday most of the guys went to play football in the morning. We got some cute pictures of the 2009 babies. Gemma, Macy, Ashlyn and Elijah. Kamryn and Dallin were having a good conversation on the swing. Macy was having fun with the older cousins. Kaiden was the lucky guy this day.




After playing some games and eating lunch we headed to Coronado. It was so beautiful. The kids had a blast playing in the cold ocean and in the sand. They found some huge shells, and we even saw some roses in the sand. I guess someone was trying to be romantic. When we got home Jeremy grilled up some yummy hamburgers and hot dogs. It was a fun day.

Reunion-Day 4

Sunday was Valentine's Day. When I got home from church (I was the only one who stayed all 3 hours) things got a little crazy. We were rushing to try to get things ready for Keta and Tonia's baby shower since Keta's family was leaving later in the afternoon. Grandma and Grandpa got the kids a new book with some Valentines' candy which was fun for them to have their own new book. Then once the cupcakes were ready, we started the shower by playing the baby food game. Then we played the diaper game. It looks so gross, but the chocolate smells so good.

Reunion-Day 5

On Monday we decided to head down to the pool. The pool was freezing cold, so after the guys jumped in the pool they joined the rest of us in the jacuzzi. It was Macy and Ashlyn's first time swimming. They liked it, I think it was just like a huge bath for them. After that we went back home, had a good Asian dinner and played some games. Overall, the reunion was a lot of fun, and we are looking forward to the next one!
