Pumpkin patch

On Saturday Jeremy and Kamryn went to clean part of the church and they came back with doughnuts and sunflowers!

I was able to go with Kamryn and her preschool on a field trip to the pumpkin patch. It was so much fun. We went on a hay ride, walked the corn maze, and she was able to get her pumpkin and feed the animals. It is a great pumpkin patch. In fact we liked it so much we decided we needed to go back as a family so Macy and Daddy could see it too.

Catching up

Kamryn colored this:

Kamryn gets stickers on a chart for making her bed and getting dressed in the morning. When I went in to check on her before heading off to bed I found her fully dressed and laying on top of her neatly made bed! Silly girl!

I am definitley not a spontaneous person, but a while back Kamryn woke up in the morning and was begging me to take her to the beach. I really didn't want to go, but decided what the heck?! It was a nice day, and Kamryn had fun building her sand castles.

Kamryn has been dying to ride the llamas at our local farmer's market, so the last time we went she got to ride one. His name was Satellite, and Kamryn was grinning the whole time!

A couple of weekends ago we went to the Wild Animal Park. It was great because the weather was nice and no crowds. I actually think I like it better than the zoo. We went up in this balloon to see a different view of the park and it was totally worth it! Jeremy and Kamryn loved having the lion staring at them. It was pretty cool that there was only a piece of glass between them.

The view from 400 feet up at the Wild Animal Park! It was so fun!

Half-birthday

Smiley!

Macy and Bella swinging together. Macy is about 6 weeks older than Bella.
6 months old today! (learning to sit on her own)

I can't believe Macy is 6 months old. She is such a happy girl and very easy going. We have had a few firsts with her this week. First: the rice cereal, then her first ride in the baby swing at the park, she can sit unassisted for short periods of time, and at Costco today she sat in the shopping cart with her big sister! Kamryn was so excited to have Macy there next to her, she had her arm around her like a proud big sister.

Rice cereal

Nana came to visit this weekend. We had fun shopping and hanging out. Since Nana was here, and Macy will be 6 months next week, we decided to feed her rice cereal for the first time. I'm not sure that she loves it yet, but she'll get used to it.
