Intern graduation

Jeremy graduated from his internship on Friday. He didn't really feel like he was graduating from anything since he starts his residency next week, but I think it is still something for him to be proud of. Plus he looks hot in his white uniform! One year down and now two more to go!

Beach day

While my dad was putting up shelves in our garage, my mom and I took the girls to the beach. Kamryn had fun digging for clams and building sand castles. Macy had fun eating the sand! I thought after her first accidental taste she wouldn't like it, but then she grabbed more and put it in her mouth. By the time we were ready to leave her face was covered in sand!

Father's Day weekend

It seems it is a new tradition for Jared and Melissa's family to come visit us for Father's Day weekend. We had a good time letting the kids ride their bikes (without training wheels now!) and they rode around in Kamryn's Barbie Jeep. Then on Saturday we made Jeremy and Jared breakfast in bed and we let them sleep in. When they woke up Melissa and I did a little shopping and came back for lunch. The guys went to go play basketball and we took the kids to a park that has a water fountain. They had a lot of fun, but it will be better when the weather is a little warmer. Macy started saying "night-night". It is so cute to hear her say it. Last year we went to BJ's for dinner so we decided to go again so we could get the BJ's Father's day glass. We'll just have to go again next year. We had a good time!

Macy just sat in the box and didn't mind staying in it for a while.

Dental visit

Kamryn has had her teeth cleaned before, but the other day she went to a pediatric dentist. She was so excited for the appointment! Then when we got there I think she was even more excited. They have a video game cave in the waiting room and toys to play with. The assistant was even able to take some x-rays of Kamryn's teeth. She thought it was cool to see her "big" teeth and baby teeth on the x-rays. No cavities either! Then when she got in the chair to have her teeth cleaned she got to watch playhouse Disney on the T.V. that was on the ceiling. I was so glad that she had a good experience and now she says she wants to be a dental hygienist!

Food

Macy was sent to see a nutritionist at her 12 month check up because she was falling off the curve for her weight and height. Since then we have been feeding her milk with carnation instant breakfast, and lots of other fattening foods. At 14 months she was weighed again and is now almost 21 pounds! She loves to eat and had fun eating an Oreo cookie the other day too.

Preschool Graduation

First day of school

Last day of school

Kamryn had her "Year End Preschool Graduation" in the beginning of June. My mom was able to stay an extra day to come watch her sing songs with her class and get her certificate with a folder of all of the things that she has learned throughout the year. Kamryn is going to miss her teachers Miss Pam and Miss Carmen. And we had to get a picture of her and her best friend Joy. Then we took pictures of her and her boy friends, Brayden, Lorenzo and Clark. Now I guess it is time to move on to Kindergarten. Good job Kamryn!

No more training wheels!

Over Memorial weekend Jeremy took Kamryn out on her bike without training wheels. She did very well, and was so proud of herself. At first she couldn't turn very well or get started on her own, but since then she has been out practicing more and is now able to do it all on her own. Way to go Kamryn!

Memorial weekend

My mom came to visit us for Memorial weekend. We had a great time going on a hike, planting flowers in front of our house, painting Macy's room and going to a barbecue at our friend's house.
Kamryn brought along her bug kit for the hike. She caught a little butterfly and then we let it go a couple of days later. She loved exploring on the hike. She kept telling Jeremy "This is awesome dad!" We will definitely have to go again soon.
The kids had a lot of fun at the barbecue with a bounce house and a lot of toys to play with. Macy had fun with her friend Bella who is only a month younger than her. The adults had a good time too, and the food was excellent!
