Disneyland with Nana

Nana came to visit us. She brought down all of my old Barbie dolls with her and the girls were so excited to play with all of them. We went to Disneyland too! It was so fun seeing all of the fall decorations (Nana's favorite!). I got to ride the big kid rides with Kamryn which was a lot of fun. We got a picture with Mickey and Minnie before heading over to California Adventure. We watched the parade and rode some more rides. We were able to ride the new Ariel ride and Toy Story Mania. It was a fun weekend. We even were able to get some birthday/Christmas shopping done and watched the annual Relief Society broadcast.

Grant's first haircut

Grant's hair was starting to get "wings" so it was time for him to get his first haircut. So on September 24th I took him into a local salon to have it done. He did great, even with the noisy clippers. He looks so cute!

Chula Vista Nature Center

Our family went to the Chula Vista Nature Center the other weekend and it was so fun! They had so many cool things to see: sea turtles, sea horses, all kinds of fish, eels, an octopus, birds, and sharks! My favorite was the octopus. They had an exhibit called "washed ashore" where an artist made sculptures out of trash they found on the beach. It was pretty eye-opening to see all of the stuff they found! They even had little searches for the kids to do like find the yellow shovel on the fish. It was a neat place, and all of our kids fell asleep on the way home.
