Disneyland

We went to Disneyland on January 3rd and it sure was crowded! Most schools were still on winter break so we were only able to ride 6 rides that day. Kamryn was disappointed she didn't get to ride any "big" rides, but we will be sure to go again on a day that won't be so crowded next time. It was still neat to see It's a small world and Sleeping Beauty's castle at night.

New Year's Mammoth trip

On the 29th my mom drove with me and the kids up to Tehachapi and then we headed up to Mammoth on the 30th. They didn't have a lot of snow so the ski conditions weren't that great, but it was a perfect time for Kamryn to practice more. She did great with turning and is still working on stopping. Nana watched Macy and Grant while Papa and I were skiing with Kamryn. We drove back to Tehachapi on the 1st and the girls had fun building things with the toys.

Christmas

My family arrived on the 23rd and we went to see the lights at Christmas Circle that night. On Christmas Eve the girls decorated the sugar cookies for Santa. Jeremy made delicious filet mignon and we had a great dinner with potatoes, asparagus, rolls and cranberry jello salad and of course sparkling cider. I made a pumpkin chocolate chip cheesecake for dessert. The girls left a note and cookies for Santa and carrots for the reindeer. The next morning we opened presents. Santa brought Kamryn the Harry Potter legos she wanted, and Macy got a scooter with a helmet, and Grant got a toy workbench. Grant had fun looking at his singin' soccer ball, and Macy was excited for the Rapunzel doll that she had been asking for. When we got home from church we played the new Just Dance 3 game for our Wii. It was fun! The next day Macy rode her scooter and Jeremy helped Kamryn with her science lab experiments.
