Labor Day weekend

This year for the long Labor day weekend we had Grandma and Grandpa and Jared and Melissa's family come visit us. We had a lot of fun. Carson and Brooklyn came with me to pick up Kamryn from school. They hid by an easel outside of her classroom and when she came out I told her I had a surprise for her. I told her to turn around and there they were! She was so excited! We went swimming that afternoon and then Grandma and Grandpa got to our house. We had homemade pizza for dinner. Jeremy and Jared had a good time pretending they were pizza makers and the kids had a good time putting on the toppings. After dinner the kids took turns picking movies that Grandma and Granpa had brought.
On Saturday we came up with our "plan" for the day. We went to the beach in the afternoon. It was the most crowded I had ever seen it, but we all got a parking spot. When we found our spot on the beach the people that were next to us were leaving and we got to see the awesome sandcastle they had made.
After church on Sunday the kids decided to dress up a little and put on a talent show. They all had an instrument to play. It was pretty noisy. Then Jeremy had M & M's for dessert. All of the kids were supposed to take turns picking an M & M, but they all ended up just diving for it! It was funny to watch!
On Monday we went to the pool again. The kids had a good time, then we went to dinner at Islands. It was a fun weekend with a lot of games, brownies, and laughter!
