Fourth of July weekend

The girls and I drove up to my parents house for the 4th of July weekend. My dad had bought some cupcakes with red, white, or blue frosting and Macy had fun eating it, but it sure made a mess! On Saturday we walked around the lake to see what the vendors were selling. They had a helicopter there that practiced it's water dropping for fires and the girls loved watching it! It can suck up something like 230 gallons of water in only 30 seconds. But the lake water was so dirty when they dropped it back in the lake, it looked disgusting! Afterwards they let us sit in it, they really liked that too! We took Kamryn to the pool while my dad stayed home with Macy so she could nap. Then after dinner we had our s'mores from the barbecue! We actually had s'mores a lot!! Macy preferred to eat everything seperately or just dig the chocolate out of the s'more that she had. Too funny! They loved my mom's bath with the jets and all of the bubbles. On Sunday after church my mom and Macy went outside to blow some bubbles while Kamryn played the Wii with my brother. Of course on the 4th of July I had to take pictures of the hot air balloons that are out. We took both girls to the pool that day and they had so much fun. My dad even got in the baby pool with them! He had his face in the water and Macy kept asking her papa if he was okay. I think she was worried he was going to drown or something. After the pool, Macy took an really long nap. I wasn't planning on taking her to watch the fireworks, but since her nap was so long we did. She loved them! When the show was over she kept asking for more fireworks. I wanted to take a picture of the finale, but that is when my camera died, and it hasn't worked since. Time for a new camera now. It was a fun 4th of July weekend!
