My mom came to visit us for Memorial weekend. We had a great time going on a hike, planting flowers in front of our house, painting Macy's room and going to a barbecue at our friend's house.
Kamryn brought along her bug kit for the hike. She caught a little butterfly and then we let it go a couple of days later. She loved exploring on the hike. She kept telling Jeremy "This is awesome dad!" We will definitely have to go again soon.
The kids had a lot of fun at the barbecue with a bounce house and a lot of toys to play with. Macy had fun with her friend Bella who is only a month younger than her. The adults had a good time too, and the food was excellent!

Mommy morning
Just like daddy drop off day, Kamryn's preschool also had a "mommy morning" day. We were able to make some bracelets together then they sang a song for the mommies to the tune of "Jesus loves me". Then she gave me a present which was a purse she had made. I love the picture of her singing because it shows how petite she is compared to everyone else in her class. I tried to get a picture of her and her new "friend" Lorenzo.

Great garage sale find
I found this at a garage sale recently and just had to get it. I always wanted one of these when I was a kid and for $10 I couldn't resist it. Kamryn has already had a blast with it and some of her friends too!

Daddy drop off day
Kamryn's preschool recently had a daddy drop off day. It is a special day for the daddy's to drop off the kids at school and have a little snack. The kids decorated a paper tie for them and sang a cute song. I went in Jeremy's behalf. They asked the kids some questions about their dads and they had to fill in the blanks. This is how Kamryn's went: His name is Jeremy. He is 30 years old. He is 30 feet tall. He weighs 40 pounds. He has brown hair. He has blue eyes. He works as a doctor. My dad is the best because he tickles me. It was so cute!

Our Arroyo Grande visit
While Jeremy was in Texas the girls and I drove up to Arroyo Grande to visit Jared and Melissa's family. The girls were great travelers! We had a lot of fun watching Carson's T-ball game. Macy was all over the place and Kamryn kept going into the dugout either to talk to Carson or try on the equipment. She really wanted to be out on the field with Carson. We had a good time watching the kids play together and we went swimming too! We celebrated all 5 kids' birthdays while we were there. Macy and Ashlyn loved their cupcakes and they liked the present opening too. Being read to was another highlight of our trip. Good times!

Pizza night
We decided to make homemade pizza for dinner one night. Kamryn had a lot of fun making it with daddy and was sneaking some cheese to eat while making it too. It turned out pretty tasty.

Mother's Day
Jeremy gave me some money to go shopping for myself for Mother's Day. On Mother's day I wore a new dress to church that I bought for myself. One gift I am enjoying is that Macy is finally drinking from a sippy cup! For the longest time she would only chew on the spout and not drink from it. Macy was so tired after church that she fell asleep in the car and didn't even wake up when I took her out of the carseat. I am so thankful to be the mother of my beautiful daughters.
