Our winter adventures

We have a lot of catching up to do since it has been so long since I've posted anything. This year for my work Christmas party we had a pizza party at my boss' house. We wore chef hats and made our own personal pizzas. Then the kids were able to make homemade ice cream. It was a lot of fun!

We had a little Christmas of our own here before we headed up to Nana and Papa's house for Christmas. Kamryn's princess box is now overflowing with dresses and accessories to wear. Kamryn was so excited that Santa ate the cookies and drank the milk we left for him. My parents still had snow at their house and it snowed on Christmas day, so Jeremy and Kamryn went sledding. It was a little icy, so they got going pretty fast!

For New Year's we went to Mammoth with my parents. We decided to put Kamryn on skis for the first time and put her in ski lessons. It didn't work out as I had expected. All she wanted to do was eat the snow! Either that or wander away from the rest of the class. Jeremy and I were secretly watching her and we were laughing! She seemed so bored. They only had the kids put on one ski, and that was only for a little while. Then they had the kids go up this escalator type thing that took them up the tiny hill. On the way down they played red-light, green-light. She was starting to get into it, and then they went inside for a snack. After that, she wouldn't go back out to finish the lessons. So my parents took her up the poma and skiied down the hill with her between their legs. She loved it! She kept saying "Papa go faster!" I'm glad she at least has a good memory of skiing. We'll have to try again maybe next year or the year after. We enjoyed all of the vacation time.

We did need an update...so cute! Looks like you guys have been doing lots of fun stuff. I laughed about her just wanting to eat the snow, but she looked so cute in her get up!

Kamryn looked adorable in her snowboarding outfit. She looks like she likes snow. You know there is plenty of snow in Utah! :) Was that a tinkerbell outfit she was wearing in that picture? Looks like you all had a fun Christmas!

GT's in the snow! I would love to go snowboarding again. I think Hannah & J.R. would love it. They have a little snowboard that they tried out last year when we went sledding and they were both really good. Hope the pregnancy is going good!
