Party time!

This year we celebrated Kamryn and Macy's birthday together. Kamryn really wanted a piñata so when I found a Tinker bell one that matched the rest of the decorations I was so excited. The kids just had fun playing at the park then we sang happy birthday and ate cupcakes. Macy definitely enjoyed her cupcake. Then we decided to have the kids hit the piñata. It was a tough one! Most of the kids had several hits and it still didn't break. So then some of us women tried it, then Jeremy held Kamryn and was helping her hit it. I thought he was going to give her whip lash! Finally it broke and the kids hovered around trying to get the candy. Kamryn had fun with her friends opening her presents. It was a fun stress-free party. When we got home Macy opened up her presents. She had a good time with all of the paper and help from her big sister. We were so glad that our family and so many friends came to celebrate with us.

Kamryn is 5 today! I can't believe it! She is going into kindergarten this year. That is so crazy to me. Kamryn is such a smart and funny girl with a great imagination. When I was tucking her into bed last night I told her I was sad that she was growing up so fast. Then she said "I'll tell you what Mom, I will just turn 16 (she knows that's the age she can drive) and then I won't grow up anymore after that." Very nice, but I don't think I'll want to freeze time when she is 16. She then said to me "When I grow up and have my own babies I will share them with you so you can still have a baby." She is so sweet and thoughtful. Happy Birthday!

A year ago. . .

A year ago today I had a newborn baby placed in my arms. Today I have an independent toddler! Macy loves to walk around and is getting pretty fast. She jabbers a lot and loves to follow her big sister. She has a wonderful disposition and is almost always happy. We love having Macy in our family! Happy Birthday Macy! We love you baby girl!

Happy Easter!

Jeremy's parents came to visit us for the Easter weekend. We had a great time. Stephane, Kamryn and I went to go watch "How to train a dragon" in 3-D. It was a pretty good movie. Then that night we all went out to eat at The Cheesecake Factory. After dinner Craig and Stephane babysat for us while we went bowling with some friends. It was a lot of fun.







On Saturday we dyed eggs and had a mini Easter egg hunt outside.






Then on Easter Sunday we had our egg hunt inside. Kamryn got a shirt, a book, stickers and the movie "The Princess and the Frog". Macy got a new dress, some socks and a soft book "The Princess and the Frog". We also got to watch General Conference this weekend. Unfortunately Jeremy had to work on Easter Sunday, but we went to bring him dinner and then got some sundaes at McDonald's afterwards. We had a wonderful Easter.
