Home improvement

We have had some requests to see pictures of the house. Well, we have done some home improvements, so I'll start by showing those. We had tile put in the kitchen and I love it! I think it made it look so much better. Also, Kamryn requested pink paint in her room so my mom and I painted one wall pink. Of course Kamryn wanted to help and then forgot that she had just painted the wall and leaned up against it. Oops! I still don't have everything hung up on the walls in the house, so I'll post more pictures of other rooms once that is done.

She's rolling over!

Macy actually rolled over at one month old! I wasn't sure if it was just an accident so I put her back on her tummy again a couple more times, and she kept rolling over. She doesn't do it every time, but she has done it several times since. So I had to get a picture of it to prove it. Her pediatrician thinks she will be an early crawler and walker--she's got to keep up with her big sister!

Cousins and Friends

So while all of our stuff was in a U-haul and we were waiting to move to San Diego, we were able to spend time with cousins and friends. Macy and her cousin Gemma in their nightgowns. They are only 3 months apart. Kamryn with her cousin Adalei. They are 5 months apart. This picture cracks me up because from what I understand, Jeremy was a little wild and annoying brother to his sister Misty, and it looks like here that Kamryn is following in her dad's footsteps. On Memorial weekend we had our good friends Emily and Arnie and their daughter Kejia come swimming with us and then we had a barbecue at my parents house.

USC graduate!

Jeremy is officially an M.D. now! Yay! We are so proud of him. It is going to be weird getting out of the college scene. I guess it is time for us to grow up now. . . The graduation was good, and the reception afterwards was very nice. The food was good and a special thanks to everyone that made it down for this special occasion!

Macy's blessing

So we decided since we had family coming to visit for Jeremy's graduation, that we would bless Macy in Tehachapi that weekend. She of course, cried the whole time, but the blessing was still great. This isn't the greatest picture of Macy, but I wanted to show her blessing dress. My grandfather, my brother and I were all baptized in this dress, so it has been in the family a LONG time.

Happy Mother's Day

We love mommy and we wanted to express some feelings about her on this special day.
Our thoughts about our mommy & wife on Mother’s Day 2009.

Daddy
M: you are a role Model for our kids, especially given the fact that they are both female; they will want to be just like you and I am happy to have them pattern their lives after your life
O: you are Obedient; I have always admired this about you and this is a quality I always wanted in my wife and the mother of my childrem
T: you are Trustworthy and there not too many qualities that surpass this in a mother; I have always felt like I could trust you in every way and that will mean so much to our children
H: you are a Happy mother and the kids love and will love that about you; you are a pleasure to be around and your smile and laughter make all of us happy
E: you are Entertaining; one of my favorite things about our marriage is the fact that we laugh so much; I know Macy and Kamryn are going to love that about you
R: I have seen you grow spiritually into a Righteous mother and example; seeing growth in ourselves is always challenging because change is slow, but I have definitely seen it and I think you can too
Kamryn
Dad: What do you want to tell Mommy for Mother’s Day?
Kamryn: I just love her so, so much.
Dad: What do you love about her?
Kamryn: She is nice and she plays with me.
Dad: What else?
Kamryn: She’s a handful.
Macy
Dad: What do you want to tell Mommy for Mother’s Day?
Macy: smack, smack, gurgle, yawn (translation: mommy loves me and spends many sleepless nights feeding me and holding me and making me feel secure; I think she has the most important job in the world)

WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH MOMMY!! HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!!
